RECLAIMED WOOD
Using reclaimed wood found locally, the frames to support our canvases are custom designed to fit standard frame sizes or your personal needs.
CANVASES
All canvases (including paper, fabric and wood canvases) are made with 100% recycled organic products (bamboo, hemp and cotton). Some paintings are made by repurposing canvas frames from old paintings.
HEMP FABRIC
The stretched canvases are made with 100% organic hemp fabric. Hemp is a sustainable crop that can be used to produce a vast array of biodegradable materials. Hemp even gives back by returning nutrients to the soil and sequestering carbon dioxide. The hemp fabric is stretched tight, wrapped and stapled into the wooden frame.
PRIMER
Canvases are primed with eco-friendly, non-toxic and vegan gesso. The gesso comes from Natural Earth Paints and is made with French marble dust, limestone powder, titanium dioxide pigment and plant-based binders. It is professional grade, archival and based on time tested Renaissance recipes.
NATURAL EARTH PIGMENTS
Paintings are made with non-toxic natural earth pigments hand mixed to the perfect consistency with walnut oil or water. The pigments come from Natural Earth Paint, an eco-friendly company Gold Certified from Green America - the highest rank for a green business. All paintings are sealed with an all natural, non-toxic varnish made with a blend of plant-based ingredients.
PACKAGING & SHIPPING
All orders are packaged and protected with 100% recycled, biodegradable paper and cushioned envelopes, as well as recycled cardboard and tape. Orders are typically prepared within 2 business days from when it was received. Please allow print orders 1-2 weeks for delivery. When orders are shipped you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information (free shipping for United States). For all local orders in the San Diego area, personal deliveries can be arranged.
